Ezekiel 3: 18 - 'When I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.'
30 years ago, a young woman was traveling home from Colorado to Montana via Highway. She was pulled over on a long stretch of highway by a police officer because she was traveling 88 miles an hour in a 55 mile an hour speed zone. This is immediate grounds for incarceration and having her car impounded. The police officer took her to his vehicle, showed her the citation - and surprised her by saying, 'You're free to go, I'm just gonna give you a ticket. He let this girl go, knowing she could've been in jail.
Later down the road, the officer realizes that this girl is missing and has been for quite some time. What the police officer didn't now was, the girl would be abducted and he was the last person to see her alive before her murderer did! On one hand, I can see if he had placed her in custody, some would frown on that because of her circumstances however, she would be alive today had he done the right thing by locking her up!
We live in a world that refuses to take responsibility for our actions...we'd rather blame others or call our sins and conditions medical terms; insinuating that we couldn't help ourselves. Listen, standards there are to keep us safe from immediate danger.
To this day, the policeman is still tormented by the notion, he let this woman go, only to fall into the hands of Sadistic killer. Have you ever had a lapse in responsibility? This is more than physical provisions, this is spiritual.
Think with me, the police officer didn't murder this woman, he didn't cause her death, but he could've prevented it!! The same is true for you and me when it comes to our spheres of influence. We may not cause the demise of our brothers or sisters in Christ, our children, and / or spouse...but we can possibly prevent it by taking action in responsibility.
You can never be too careful when it comes to assuming responsibility; for yourself, your marriage, your children, and your relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Dynamic Template
John 5: 43 - 'I have come in My Father's name, and you don't receive Me, but if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.'
There are things in this world that have become the norm but years prior, they would've been unheard of. I.E. - SSNs, Credit Cards, Gay Marriage, etc. These sensational events were accepted finally, as conditioning and templates were set in place before the powers that be sprang the trigger.
Think about it...would you like to vote on whether or not your grandparents are allowed to live? That's incredibly sensational isn't it? Many of you would be outraged if you were asked to do such a thing...but in essence...YOU ARE! This question has been cloaked in different ways...Euthanasia has been accepted in the animal kingdom time out of mind...now, with the introduction of ObamaCare...when it comes to donors and lists for operations w/the distribution of organs...we are asking for our grandparents' heads!
Did you ever believe that you would live in a time where the greatest fight for American rights had to do with protecting yourself? Yet, our society is being asked, later forced, to lay down our firearms...we've been buttered up by Peace Campaigns, Free thinkers, and Television...but the reality is, we live in a time where people are simply coming in their own name and telling us what to do and how to live!
Sadly, this concept has a root in the Church of Jesus Christ! My only counsel is that we be a people of prayer and 'Watching' because - when this comes into total fruition, will your faith in Christ become weakened by the voice of 'Change?' Pray for our Nation...we need God to help us before it's too late.

Let Me Go!
Exodus 5:1-2
First Encounter with Pharaoh
5 Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.’” 2 And Pharaoh said, “Who is the LORD that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go.”
400 years ~ 10 generations, is a long time to be in bondage.
It was prophesied in Gen. 15: 13 – 14 that Abraham’s children will
be enslaved but liberated. Exodus is quite interesting because, when the children of Israel were first enslaved, there wasn't any resistance to their Captor. Have you ever found yourself enslaved but you did nothing to stop it? The armor of the Lord is laying over in the weeds of your carnal decisions and the enemy has assumed lordship over your life…without incident.
- You would think that in the 400 years of bondage > someone
would've piped up about the God of Israel…but bondage works funny in the way that the hard work, the mistreatment, the beatings, and the loss of dignity will rob you of your faith in God…you reduce God to existing only in Good times, and since there are no more good times, God is no more! How did they / you get to this place in life where bondage became a natural and everyday thing? I wonder if the lack of preparation was a factor.
Dr. Bill Merrill of Texas A&M said that if we were to have another
hurricane like Ike, we would suffer MORE than the first time because even after a catastrophe, we've still failed to prepare for the future. Hurricane Ike cost America 15+ billion!!
Application: You would think the 7 year famine and Joseph’s wisdom would've taught the people of God to be ready when things come their way. However, the blessing of God was taken for granted thus preventing the people to brace themselves for another famine…
The first famine was 7 years – this famine (slavery), was 430!!
Who is your Pharaoh?
- Is he lust?
- Is he gossip?
- Is he unforgiveness?
You know, 400 years is a long time!
I wonder if the benefits of bondage were a factor.
Did you know there’s benefits to bondages?
Numbers 11:4-6
4 Now the mixed multitude who were among them yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? 5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; 6 but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!” Can you believe this? The people were testifying of the all the food they could eat when they were slaves? They forgot the slave part eh? Is this the reason many people here are still bound? You want to be free…but not really??
Example:
It is nearly impossible to gain and / or maintain employment when you abuse drugs and alcohol! Can you imagine the rigorous journey of one employment agency to the next trying to explain
why you got fired from your previous job!! Having to face your wife and kids…maybe your license was revoked or maybe you’re paranoid about coming in contact w/the police because if there’s one more infraction, you’re going to jail!! This is a terrible life to live, yet people do it every day at
the expense of getting high!!
You need to come out and allow Jesus to free you! Let’s take a look at the Exodus example and overview:
Egypt is a type of sin…in order to be free, the people cried out to God, and He sent a Man to deliver them…a few things I want to point out concerning the freedom from bondage:
1. God told Moses to tell Pharaoh to let His people go so they can Worship Him. He didn’t save you to do whatever you want
2. Why didn't God just come into Egypt and snatch them out? It’s a decision to be made on your own volition. He specifically told them He was going to meet them somewhere…Worship is a
Freedom Factor!!
Quote: ‘To get out of one thing without getting into something else, will leave you in a state of perpetual confusion.'
(Matt. 12: 43 – 45)…God doesn't liberate us just so we can go do our own thing…He has a plan and a purpose. Having said this, you can’t get this kinda freedom on Sunday every now and then
relationship with God…God has a plan and a purpose…it’s to benefit your spirit and crucify your flesh. When God finally pulled them out of Egypt, they were to go into the wilderness and worship Him…I’m not speaking of emotions / I’m not speaking of hype / I’m not speaking of hearing great
music – there is a place where God will meet you and I; this is a life-changing place
In true worship 2 things are happening simultaneously:
1. You’re pulling the presence of God down
2. God is ushering you in to His presence
Both are going on at the same time…there’s nothing like it! It’s conclusive proof that God is among you! You feel the joy of His presence and the weight of His conviction at the same time! You’re not gonna get there on happy talk…happy feet…etc
I wonder how many Christians would live for God longer if they spent more time trying to access God’s presence rather than pursue their own will and lifestyle.
John 4:21-23
21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to
worship Him.
When was the last time you sought the face of God? Do you really think that worship is when we start service? There’s people who clap and sing, know all the words to the song, and are just as
bound as the town drunk!! Hell drives a bus by the church every service, and I've seen people leave the house of God and catch that bus!! Where are the worshipers? I’m speaking of people who give God glory for bringing them out! This will sustain you – keep you – and make you stronger in the faith. Do you want to be free? Come out to the wilderness, and worship the Lord your God.

Judgment Day
Matthew 25:31-46
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy[a] angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ 44 “Then they also will answer Him,[b] saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
You've probably heard it said in times past by others, and you might have said it yourself, 'God is my judge...' I know that people use that term as a cop out; they would prefer to be to themselves without an authoritative figure over them...however, I also know that it's absolutely true! God will judge you! As believers we must understand this...God will judge His people.
In this passage, it's very interesting to note that the sheep and the goats are NOT saints and sinners! All belonged in the house of God, but only one group of God's people were obedient...the disobedient children of God were judged and sent to hell!!
What is also interesting is what Jesus judged them on...feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, tending to strangers, clothing the naked, visiting the sick and the prisoner. Now, understand there are literal and figurative examples of these dynamics...make no mistake, we will be called into account for doing or not doing these things!
With the gospel of Jesus Christ, we can feed, provide 'water', comfort the stranger, the naked, the sick, and the prisoner...we must be the people of God who will seek opportunities to do so. Now, you must ask yourself, 'Are you going to be judged by your lack?' Can God use you to minister to people in these areas of life?
As you have done these things to the least of these, His brothers, you've done it to Him

Remember Lot's Wife
Luke 17: 32 - 'Remember Lot's wife...'
What a powerful statement made by Jesus. He's basically saying, 'Let this woman's life preach to you.' Her life is a direct result of the influence of her husband. Men, we are responsible for the sanctity of our wives. We make them into who they are down the road.
It's amazing when you study out this family and the decisions made by them! Look at the progress of death, if you will throughout their lives...
1) Strife caused by his herdsmen led him to separate from Abram
2) They pitched their tent outside of Sodom, only to be captured by Chedolaomer
3) Even though they were rescued by Abram, they still decided to move back to Sodom, now he sits in the gate!
4) 2 Angels visit their home and they want to sleep outside preferably over sleeping in their house!
5) Raging maniacs surround Lot's home to sleep with the angels, Lot offers his daughters, and his wife says NOTHING!
6) She longs for this wicked city, and in the day of judgment, rather than escaping, she's frozen forever more in her sin, a decision influenced by Lot.
Men, just exactly where are you leading your wives and children? Make sure you're not leading into your own personal Sodom. If you're not careful, you can lead them into a place where you may escape...but your wife and children won't!
Think with me, because of Lot and his carnal choices...he led his family into compromise, judgment, death, and finally, incest! Amazing...and better yet, his choices not only affected his family, but generations after that! Remember, his daughters gave birth to Moab and Ben Ammi (The Ammonites)...they are still a thorn in Israel's side today!
Remember Lot's wife...let her life preach to you and I.

Battling Heaviness
Isa. 61: 2 - '...put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness...'
The Word of God teaches us that heaviness is a spirit. We carry this spirit for several reasons...what I've come to know over the years in ministry is, many carry this spirit because they do not understand how to process failure. Some of us set unrealistic standards for ourselves, and whenever we fall short of them, we brood over it and give ourselves to self - pity, even despair!
God gives us the remedy for this spirit we battle on a daily basis...that is praise and worship! Heaviness places so much concentration on yourself, no wonder it's so easy to transition into depression or condemnation. Worship however, will remedy most of this...along side of humility and responsibility.
Understand that worship is a choice. It's more than what you do - God says, it's what you 'put on.' That tells me that we either choose to praise God and give Him glory, or we choose not to. I've heard people say in the past, 'I couldn't help but give God all the praise!' That sounds good, but the truth is, you can help it! IT'S A CHOICE.
Back to the issue here - allow me to ask you this question...just how do you process failure? When you fail, and trust me you will...what do you do? Do you seclude yourself with a bucket of ice cream? Do you rise up and fight everyone who recalls the failure to you? Or do you go to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to help you in your areas of weakness? Self - pity is a waste of energy! It will also make you and enemy of God > it gives way to unbelief, and we know that without faith, it is impossible to please God.
I'm telling you as your brother in Christ - place the garment of praise over you and worship God despite your circumstances...let God be God in everything we do. I encourage you to get real with God, and let Him move in on your heart and make some serious changes.

Gen. 1: 27 - 28, 'So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'
The very first thing God told mankind to do was to be fruitful and have dominion over the earth...He was speaking in terms of production and even procreation... obviously, Adam, now a married man was approved by God to reproduce himself... before he had a wife, he wasn't qualified to do so. One of the main things that has prohibited mankind from being all that God wants us to be is immorality...sexual immorality prevents the blessing and approval of God on our lives.
The prevailing sin that has captured America and has become the cornerstone of that curse is HOMOSEXUALITY. The crime here is against God's natural intentions for mankind...the ability to procreate and produce...homosexuality not only prevents this, but scoffs at the notion.
In the purest definition...Homosexuality is sexual interest in and attraction to members of one's own sex; this covers the male and the female. This is not only a crime against God, but against man as well...it perverts your original design...fruitfulness.
1st Cor. 6: 18 - 'Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside of the body, but he who commits sexual immorality, sins against his own body.'
Homosexuality is more than just 'nasty' or 'distasteful' to people...we literally refuse to be who God made us to be > in other words, when you're in the throws of this intimacy with another person of the same sex, Nothing is produced from that union...throughout history, God has always judged fruitlessness...
Luke 13: 6 - 9, 'A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, he came looking for fruit on it, but found none. He said to the worker tending the vineyard, 'For 3 years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any...cut it down, why must it take up space in my vineyard?' The worker said, 'Leave it another year and allow me to fertilize it, if it bears fruit, fine, if not, then I'll cut it down.'
Barrenness has always been looked upon as a reproach, even to this day. A study was conducted where middle - aged business women were questioned. One of the questions was, 'If you could go back and change anything, what would it be?' Almost all of them said if they could turn back the clock, they would've gotten married and had children!!
We can see the danger in this act, and the spirit it carries...however, as Christians, we need to know how to bring about change and help people to the cross. The first step is to STOP BEING SMALL - MINDED. Homosexuality is a sexual preference...it's not a race, these precious people are not Strange, they are lost without Christ and need Him in order to be saved and healed. Understand that what plagues the homosexual more than anything is the lack of peace they experience. Only the Blood of Jesus can ensure that!
My friends, we are all sinners and without Jesus we'd be lost. Allow God to soften your heart and open you up to be a blessing rather than a thorn in the side of this community. Let's get back to the original design God intended...to be fruitful!
